HARADA began as an antenna manufacturer in 1957. Having succeeded with the development of the "Lock-Antenna," which was a radio receiving car antenna, and having been adopted as genuine parts of a car, we became a World-class antenna manufacturer with a high market share in supplying the OEM automobile manufacturing companies in the world.
People may not frequently recognize our name. However, our various products have been playing major roles, not only in automobiles but also in various facets of life, such as with mobile phones, PHS base stations, and wireless LAN.
Harada continues to be the world's leading antenna manufacturer. In other words, we continuously challenge ourselves in designing the future of communications technology while maintaining the very highest quality to our customers.

Leading edge products are produced from a state-of-the-art development environment

We efficiently produce antenna products for multimedia car applications, which continue to evolve each day, at our research and product development sites in Japan, U.S.A., and Europe for our worldwide customers. Moreover, we are making positive research and product development progress on our "Hidden Antenna" with increased frequency in a miniaturized size as well as telephone and wireless LAN.

In addition to the three development sites, the technical divisions at all our facilities deploy the R&D global network to allow for the sharing and real-time distribution of R&D information. This effectively makes full use of the latest technology and equipment and allows for direct communications with the continual focus on developing the highest value added products.

Manufacturing System

A Unique Product Manufacturing System

A basic principle of the Harada Group's manufacturing network is to build plants in areas that are strategically ideal in terms of cost, quality, and logistics; and to create a manufacturing system that can respond immediately to global market demands.
Harada's plants in China, Mexico, Vietnam, and Japan (Niigata) are effectively manufacturing our products.

Instead of carrying out extensive or limited specialized production at one plant, we adopted a "twin-plant system" in which the same product is manufactured at two Harada Group plants. This "twin-plant system" reduces the risk of disruption due to natural and man-made disasters, and guarantees a constant supply to all of Harada's customers.
Further, aiming at optimally priced component purchases, along with local procurement of parts and materials, are promoted focus areas.
